Welcome to Little Sprouts Active
It's time for exercise and play in the wild.
Little Sprouts Active aims to enhance well-being and build the foundation for healthy active lifestyles in children. We visit schools and youth organizations and offer active health promotion presentations.
Not only does this class build gross motor skill competencies, boost energy levels and build self-esteem, but it also encourages participants to be creative, use their imagination, and have positive, joyful, and multi-sensory experiences of physical activity in green spaces.
Our classes advocate for green space physical activity promotion and incorporate stress management techniques for little ones.
All sessions are instructed in English by Laura, who holds a TEFL certification. This class offers a unique method to blend healthy physical activity, nature connection, and foreign language development all in one!
Access to natural environments may contribute to children being more active. Free play in natural environments can increase concentration and encourage decision-making, cooperation, creativity, and curiosity. Children spend more time indoors and in urban settings than previous generations, with less nature contact. Childhood nature connections may increase the likelihood that as adults, they will appreciate and value nature more than those without.
